FST has also access to the pomace of the pumpkin juice production. From there the idea was born to check whether a pumpkin fibre could be produced. Our very own FST drying and milling process as expected did the trick.
PumFiPRO shows the strong water retention of all FST vegetable fibre – in this case 1:12. On top, PumFiPRO has a wonderfully yellow colour. This feature can be used to not only texture a variety of foods but also to give them a yellow colour – without an extra colouring present in the ingredients list.
Of course also PumFiPRO is a sustainable and fully natural product.
